What is not to love about this gorgeous child’s ballet costume? The colour is splendid. Describing this shade is a lot of fun. It reminds me of Seafoam green, yet slightly muted with a cream undertone. It isn’t quite green and it isn’t quite blue. However, it is quite stunning!
Once you get past the gorgeous shade of fabric and tulle used for the bodice and tutu skirt, you notice the precise line-up of embellishments on the front of the bodice. This really shows off the costume-making skills of the designer.
There is perfect symmetry between the dancers shoulder width and the placement of the bodice straps. The tutu skirt is perfect for the child’s shape and body. This is a very young dancer with the polished appearance of an advanced professional ballet dancer.
With spring just around the corner, the fresh colour of this tutu is a wonderful representation of the new life and new beginnings that will come as we leave winter behind. Not only can we expect new blooms outdoors, but we get to look forward to a pretty new “crop” of fabulous tutu designs from Costume Creations!
“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.”-Osho
